Former Ghana skipper Stephen Appiah has been appointed by the Ghana Football Association (GFA) as the new Team Manager for the Black Stars.
The former Ghanaian international player returns to the Black Stars but this time as a technical member of the team after since retiring from football.
The former Juventus star made history after becoming the first captain to qualify the Black Stars to a FIFA World Cup when he led the team to the 2006 edition of the competition in Germany.
His play mate at the Black Stars Richard Kingston has also been named as the Goalkeepers trainer with former players Ibrahim Tanko and Maxwell Konadu are Assistant Coaches.
Kwesi Appiah whose appointment as the Black Stars coach has been confirmed has requested for a physical instructor.
Mr Kwesi Appiah succeeds Avram Grant who left the position after some months ago.
