Coach Steve Polack has called on the Kotoko family both players and technical team to put the accident behind them and move on into the future.
The English coach said this when he, together with team manager of the club visited the team’s Adako Jachie training grounds.
“It may have dislodged the hitherto fine, normal feeling in camp but there are more good reasons for us to put the tragic incident of July 12, 2017 behind us and move on and look into the future with positivity”. he said.
Coach Polack in a chat with his players and rest of the technical team urged them to look beyond what befell the team a fortnight ago and get ready for a strong comeback.
Some of the players have been reporting for training since last week Thursday under the supervision of Youth team coach, Ernest Appau with Sampson Appiah and Isaac Ayeba as goalkeepers trainer and physical instructor respectively.
Kotoko are expected to return to competitive action on Sunday, August 6, 2017 for the outstanding Premier League match against Hearts of Oak at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium, Kumasi.
