Ghana Black Stars midfielder Sulley Ali Muntari has joined Italian Serie A side Pescara on six months deal.
The former Sunderland and AC Milan player has been a number one target for the Serie A side since ending his contract with Al Ittihad of Saudi Arabia.
Muntari will replace Italian international Alberto Aquilani who has left the Italian club for another opportunity elsewhere.
This move means the experience midfielder makes a return to Italy having played for Udinese, Inter Milan and AC Milan in the past.
Muntari won the Italian League and the UEFA Champions league with Inter Milan in Italy under then head coach Jose Mourinho and will be hoping for more success in his return to the Serie A.
