Former France international, Willy Sagnol will face the six-member panel tasked to search for a new coach for the Black Stars today. Sagnol made the shortlist of coaches to avail themselves to be interviewed by the GFA. The 40-year old, who played as a right back in his days, was scheduled to arrive in the country yesterday ahead of the interview today. Sagnol is currently unattached, having coached Ligue One side, Bordeaux from 2014-2016. Sagnol was part of the French team that won silver at the 2006 World Cup in Germany and was also a team mate of Samuel Kuffour as their Bayern Munich team won the UEFA Champions League in 2001.-

Manchester United generated the most revenue of any football club in the world last season, according to a report published by Deloitte. United dethrone Real Madrid - who held top spot for 11 years - after accumulating a record revenue of 689m euros (£515m) during the 2015-16 term. The Premier League club saw commercial revenue grow by 100m euros (£71m). Combined revenue for the top 20 clubs during the 2015-16 season grew 12% to 7.4bn euros (£6.41bn) - a new record. It is the first time Manchester United have topped the annual Deloitte Football Money League since the 2003-04 season. Bayern Munich defender Jerome Boateng will be out for at least six weeks after undergoing surgery on Tuesday following an injury in training, the Bundesliga champions said. The Germany international suffered a fall in a practice session last week and damaged a chest muscle tendon, Bayern said in a statement. He is set to miss the re-start of the Bundesliga on Jan. 20 following the winter break. "The operation went well," Bayern doctor Volker Braun said. "In case of a perfect recovery process it will take about six week for Jerome to return."
