In a bid to sharpen his team's focus for the remainder of the season, Head coach, Steven Polack, has reiterated Kotoko's resolve to end the season on a high note. Speaking with Asantekotokosc.com, Polack admitted that the club missed out on its foremost target of challenging for the Ghana Premier League title and hence his focus on finishing the season stronger with just two rounds of matches left to draw the curtain. Mascot for FA Cup finale to be unveiled on Tuesday

The official mascot for the 2017 MTN FA Cup grand finale will be unveiled on Tuesday October 10 at 1pm. The ceremony which will be held at the Conference room of the GFA Secretariat in Accra will also see the tag line for final match officially announced. There will also photo opportunities with the mascot and the FA Cup trophy. Meanwhile, the FA Cup Committee will meet key stakeholders on Tuesday October 10 ahead of the grand finale of this year's MTN FA Cup competition. The Committee will meet the two finalists Asante Kotoko and Hearts of Oak as well as Star Times Ghana and title sponsors MTN and their activation agents EXP. The semi-final matches of the Sanford FA Cup will be played over the weekend in Accra and Sunyani respectively. Police Ladies and Immigration Ladies will clash at the Asamoah Gyan park at Accra Academy High School on Saturday, while Prison Ladies play Ampem Darkoa Ladies at the Sunyani Coronation Park on Saturday. FA c This MTN FA Cup final would be played on Sunday October 29th at the Tamale Sports Stadium. The two teams who makes it out of the semi finalist Kotoko, Hearts, Medeama and Wa All Stars will be challenging for the title at stake. Last year's edition was hosted at the Cape Coast Stadium between Bechem United and Okwahu United which the hunters won by 2-1 after 90 minutes.
