Ghanaian Striker Samuel Tetteh happy to return to the field again after seven months absence from the game. The former WAFA forward damaged his Anterior Cruciate Ligament seven months ago and has since been in the treatment room where he was receiving treatment. Samuel Tetteh return to pitch yesterday replaced Alexander Schmidt in the 61st minute in their game at the Goldberg Stadium. Tetteh joined Salzburg two season ago and became an instant hit where he scored ten goals in his first 20 games for the junior team before joining the senior tem. Majeed Ashimeru joins Red Bull Salzburg from WAFA

Ghana Premier League side WAFA have confirmed that midfielder Majeed Ashimeru has joined Austrian Champion Red Bull Salzburg. The midfielder joined Red Bull Salzburg after impressing with his performance in the Ghana Premier League which has seen his side at the second position on the league log. Majeed Ashimueru joined the Sogakope side as a youth player before progressing to the senior team where he formed a strong partnership with Gideon Waja. Ashimeru was part of the Black Stars B side and was also part of Coach Kwesi Appiah's senior Black Stars team for the USA and Mexico game. He joins the likes of becomes the latest Ghanaian player to join the Austrian Club after Samuel Tetteh and David Atanga.

Brighton and Hove Albion’s aim of signing Ghanaian striker Raphael Dwamena has been dashed after FC Zurich rejected their offer Sky Sports report. The English Premier League newbies are believed to be interested in the Ghana international who has been in top form for both club and country. The English side are said to be interested in the striker who scored 12 goals in 18 appearance for Zurich after joining from Red Bull Salzburg.   It is understood Brighton representatives met with the player on Wednesday night in a restaurant in Belgium to finalize the transfer, believed to be worth an initial £13.5m, potentially rising to £16m. His current contract with the Zurich-based club will ran out in summer 2020.
