The exciting opening game of the Ghana Tertiary Football League ended in a 2-2 draw between Accra Technical University (ATU) and University of Ghana (UG). The game played on Saturday afternoon at the University of Ghana Stadium saw all teams put up the best performance to ensure their sides carry the day. ATU after an early dominance in the game scored the opening goal with Prince Disu converting from the spot in the 18th minute to put his side in the lead. Just some few minutes before the close of the first half, ATU's Bernard Mensah scored from the spot once again to send his side in a 2-0 lead. However, UG fought back to equalised all two goals from the UG to end the game in a 2-2 stalemate after the final whistle.
