Accra Hearts of Oak come up against Wa All Stars in the Ghana Premier League tomorrow at the Accra Sports Stadium.
The Phobians will be having revenge on their minds going into this game after the 3-1 defeat they suffered at the hands of All Stars last season.
Hearts are without a win in the league this season after settling for three straight draws in their opening games and will be hoping to win this game to get their season going.
General captain of the side Thomas Abbey has revealed that the players will pick themselves and do everything possible to grab a first win of the season against Wa AllStars on Sunday.
The hardworking midfielder captained the side in Wednesday’s 1-1 draw game with Ebusua Dwarfs and provided the assist for Patrick Razak’s opener.
“We have to pick ourselves up and look forward to the next game which is against Wa AllStars. They are a very good side and they won the league last year so we have to be at our absolute best to beat them.
“The players know what’s at stake so we will do everything to get our first win this Sunday.”
But all stars who are yet to kick a ball in this season’s league will be hoping to begin their title defense with a win at the Accra Sports Stadium come Sunday.
After a disappointing show in the CAF Champions League, the league winners will want to win the game against hearts in a way to boost their confidence in the season.
Hearts of Oak currently occupies the ninth position on the league log with 3 points 6 points adrift leaders Aduana Stars.
