Inter Allies Defender Wahab Ackwei has made goal scoring his main target this season after wasting many goal scoring opportunities which came his way last season.
Ackwei’s only goal won the day for his side when they faced Tema Youth on Monday at the El Wak Stadium and the workaholic defender wants to keep scoring more to help his side excel in the league.
Speaking to the club’s website, the ball playing defender said that he hopes to improve on last season’s performance by adding goals to his play.
“Definitely adding goals to my game will make me a better player,” he said.
“Last season I rattled the crossbar severally and had chances to score but fluffed all, I think there’s more to come after this one.”
“In cases where we’re having tough games I want to be scoring for the team and be an option on the score sheet.” he added.
Wahab Ackwei has been an integral member of the team featuring in 7 games already this season out of the 8 games played so far.
