Ghanaian born Striker Daniel Agyei has returned to the Midlands after agreeing a loan move to Walsall.
The Clarets’ front man spent the first half of last season on loan at Coventry City, scoring four times in 16 league appearances – plus a goal in the John stones Paint Trophy – for the Sky Blues.
And the 20-year-old has now returned to League One for a chance of first-team football with the Saddlers in a loan deal running until 6 January.
Agyei, joined Burnley from AFC Wimbledon in 2015, and made three Premier League appearances from the bench for the Clarets last season.
But following the arrivals of Chris Wood, Jon Walters and Nahki Wells during the summer transfer window, Agyei has been allowed to move on a temporary basis to further his first-team experience.
A number of League One sides were interested in the pacey striker, who opted for a move to Walsall, who play Plymouth Argyle at the Bescot Stadium on Saturday.
