Ghana’s Andre Ayew has revealed that he is close to getting to his best after a difficult start with West Ham united in the English Premier league.
The Black Stars deputy skipper after a record transfer from Swansea to join the hammers suffered an injury in a game against Chelsea which delayed his progress at the club.
He came back before the turn of the year and went to Gabon to play for Ghana at the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations.
Since his return from the African competition, the former has been showing signs of his qualities for the his side by getting in some goals.
“I think I’m getting there,” he observed. “I have said it before, I’m getting there. I know my quality and I’m working hard and my teammates are giving me a lot of confidence. They have a lot of trust in me”.
“I am trying to do my best at the moment.”
