The Ghana Black Stars B side takes on Guinea in opening group stage games of the 2017 WAFU Cup today at the Cape Coast Stadium.
Ghana progressed to this stage following a last minute victory over Gambia in the opening knock out stage last Saturday.
After relying on a last minute penalty to win their first game, Ghanaian fans will be hoping for an improved performance from the team as they take on the Guineans.
Coach Maxwell Konadu is likely to make changes to his starting line which played in the first game with Hearts of Oak trio Winful Cobbina, Vincent Atinga and Patrick Razak returning into the team.
Skillful Cobbina was an unused substitute in the first game but is set to return to the team whiles both Atinga and Razak are expected to be given a starting place after making a substitute appearance in he game against Gambia.
Coach Maxwell Konadu and his boys are seeking to lift this trophy to compensate Ghanaian fans after failing to qualify for next year’s Chan competition in Kenya.
