The Ghana Black Starlets booked their ticket to the juvenile World Cup in September this year following a 5-0 win over host Gabon.
Ghana Black Starlets became the first team to make it to the next round of the 2017 African U17 Nations Cup with a 5 – 0 victory over Gabon.
Another sterling performance from the young Ghanains ensured they progress to the next stage of the competition with a game to spare.
Skipper Eric Ayiah open the score for the Starlets in the first half through a spot before Emmanuel Toku added the second of the day to make it two before the end of the first half.
Ayiah added his second and third for Ghana 11 minutes into the second half before Toku increased to tally to four 10 minutes later.
All seem to have settled down
but forward Arhin scored the fifth goal in the 76th minute to end the game.
Coach Paa Kwesi Fabin’s men have will be eyeing a 100% record when they meet Guinea in the last game of the group stage.
