Asante Kotoko Sporting Club has officially parted ways with Head Coach Dr. Prosper Narteh Ogum, the club announced this afternoon.
The decision was reached after what the club described as “constructive discussions” between both parties, culminating in a mutual agreement to end the working relationship. The club emphasized that the move was taken with the best interests of both the coach and the club in mind.
“We thank Coach Ogum for his dedication and service to the club, and we wish him the very best in his future endeavors,” the club stated in an official release.
Dr. Ogum, who has been at the helm of the Porcupine Warriors, played a significant role in the club’s recent campaigns. His departure marks the end of a chapter that saw both highs and challenges during his tenure.
Asante Kotoko also called on their loyal fanbase to remain calm and continue supporting the club through this transitional period. “Further updates will be communicated in due course,” the statement concluded.
The club is expected to announce interim coaching arrangements or a potential replacement in the coming days.
